The 3 Weeds Rozelle started its life in 1881 as the Rose, Shamrock & Thistle, however it wasn’t too long before locals began to affectionately refer to their local as the 3 Weeds.

As one of Sydney’s most historic establishments, 3 Weeds hasn’t strayed too far from its roots. The local icon has established itself as a true gastropub, offering both contemporary and traditional pub food.

Take a seat in the Back Bar with its soaring cathedral ceilings and grand sandstone fireplace. This is where traditional pub meals are taken to the next level with a focus on quality ingredients – a Pyrenees White lamb rump is served with ratatouille and salsa verde, while the free-range chicken is accompanied by farro salad and paprika honey dressing.

The fare isn’t the only point at which 3 Weeds shines. The local icon was a pioneer of the craft-beer movement – a commitment that continues today. You’ll always find a fine selection of local and imported craft beers, including two rotating taps. The range of wines and spirits follow the same philosophy, often sourced direct from the producer, providing new and interesting tipples every time you visit.

With its unique function spaces and dedicated events manager, celebrations are frequent at the 3 Weeds from birthdays and engagements to farewells, weddings and baby showers. It is truly a much-loved establishment in Sydney’s inner west.
